Is this a RAM problem?
I upgraded my system from Dual core, DG31PR board, 3Gb RAM, HD 4650 TO Core i3, 4.00gb RAM, asus P7H55-MLX and HD 4650 was same, I faced crashes, freezes, blue screen of death and video hardware error, in case I replace my HD 4650 with my new HD 5570 but nothing happened, all the graphics were choppy and lines like boxes were appearing around the buildings and poles in games and same crashes and errors, this all happened when I upgraded my old system to new one and I think that my graphics card is fine, then I ran memtest and got more than 50 errors in my RAM now the question arise that,
1: Can faulty RAM cause problem and graphics garbadge in games.
2: Can faulty RAM also create display problems.
3: As I got error in RAM by using memtest, incase should I replace it or is there any way to clean RAM errors.
Thanks in advance, every answer will be appericiated.
Yes, everything you see on your screen resides somewhere in RAM.
If any one of the sticks has an issue on one of its connections it can affect all the RAM in the system.Removethe RAM, make sure the finger edges are clean, you can use a pink eraser and alcohol wipes to clean them. Make sure the RAM slots are clean and have no dust, lint or hair stuck down in them ( its possible ).
Make sure your RAM spec's meet the compatability requirements for the MB.
