do you need to use a special hdmi cable to get 1080p signal from a blu-ray player or ps3?
Someone from bestbuy told me I had to get a monster cable 800 or 1000 series to get a 1080p signal, is that true? I have a 1080p plasma TV.
Of course someone at Bestbuy will tell you that. They make their BIG profit margin on those overpriced cables. Of course "having to get a monster cable" is a lie as most retail sales people will do!
Depending on the length and gauge of the cable, you should be able to get it for about 1/10th the cost of Best Buy or any other big retailer like them if you order it through ebay or a reputable online distributor.
