HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is a high quality cable that transmits audio and video digitally. With digital, it either works, or it doesn't.
Some things to consider; avoid extremely cheap HDMI cables, these probably wont work, albeit, you may find a great deal for and HDMI cable that works perfectly fine, again, its digital, so it comes down to whether or not it can transfer the signal properly, it does, or simply does not.
Also, never spend a great deal of money on HDMI cables. Most HDMI cables that are overpriced boast things like "Braided cord" or "24k Gold Connector". You can completely disregard these claims, as most HDMI cables will function to the same degree of performance as the last.
As for the cable in question, Yes.. it most likely would work. So long as the TV supports HDMI cables.
