Capture card hdmi splitter hdcp help?
I have an avermedia hd dvr, and when i plug the ps3 in it says i cant because of hdcp, but when i plug my xbox in it works fine. I've learned that only ps3 has hdcp on, so i know it's because of the hdcp. Also, the splitter i have is not hdcp supported, so it doesn't work at all, but it does with my xbox. If i get a splitter that is hdcp supported it will work though right? Because it is hdcp supported?
It won't work, because there is still HDCP, and your capture device does not decrypt HDCP.
