What is a good and cheap video gaming capture device?

Alright, so I've wanted to get a decent capture card (or whatever it is) for a while to record my gameplay to edit and put on youtube. I'd like it to be good quality (HD if possible) and compatible with a PS3 and Xbox 360. Also, I'm on a buget of about $120.

I know there's this Dazzle video capture system with an (supposedly) HD cable for $80, but I've seen very mixed reviews on it. Some say it's great, others say it sucks. I've heard Hauppage makes some goos stuff too but it seems a little pricey.

So, should I go with the Dazzle or is there something better out there for my price range, aside from holding a camera to my TV screen? Also, would it matter if I'm connecting my game systems to my TV with an HDMI cable?
