If i update my new gateway nv52 laptop with windows 7 ultimate would i have to install the webcam driver?
I just bought a new gateway nv52 laptop and is great! But i want to know if i would have to install all my drivers? it has alot of outputs! hdmi multi card reader and etc. I dont want to go thru all that! I mean i know how to do it, but I wonder if it would affect all my drivers. Like i have a webcam and how would i install it again? just downloading the driver?
There is a possibility Windows 7 won't pick up the drivers and you may need to go back to XP, Vista etc. However looking at the drivers page for your laptop it looks like Gateway have a lot of support for WIndows 7. Check this page http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/search.asp?st=pn¶m=NV52 and if you see your CAM you should be covered if Windows 7 doesn't install the drivers.
