I need help with home theater cables?
I have 2 cat5 cables and 2 rg6 cables ran throughout my house to a central location in the pantry. I am splitting signals from 2 HD dish network boxes to multiple TV's throughout my house. I also have a 400 disk dvd changer that I would like to be able to send to multiple tv's. I have a 55inch 1080P tv in bedroom and am getting 1080p tv for livingroom, both have their own hdbox though so they can get straight hdmi. is there a way to run hdmi through my cat5 cabling to other tvs? or can they only get their signal through the coaxial cable. also what is the best picture you can get from coaxial? is is 1080i? or lower?
basically with 2 coaxial cables from everywhere and 2 cat5, what are my options?

Check out the link I provided below. You CAN run HDMI through Cat5 and you should not get any signal loss. You might need a switcher to send the HDMI to different rooms. This is just to give you an idea, but it IS what you need. Look around on the web for different prices, but always make sure you get a POWERED unit. It is called an HDMI to CAT5 Balun.
