is there someone who can help me with mounting my tv on the wall?
i want to run the wires behind the wall and i need power ,hdmi, and coax ..i want to run them all to a 3 gang box that is recessed but im not sure if they have a box for that and if a cover plate is evan possible to find for all 3 ..am i going to have to put in seperate boxes .and if they r out there where would i find them...thanks
Yes they do make all the things you want. However you may or may not find them at a big box store because they are not the most common items.
The 3 gang box is readily available, but if you are going to be fishing the wires then you may need a pressure box, this is readily available in 1 and 2 gang boxes. As for cover plates, they do make them in almost every conceivable combination, you may need to go to an electrical supply store or order them on line.
I have combined my telephone or cad 5 lines and my cable F-6 coaxial with a multi source cover plate I bought at Menards. You may be better off putting in 2 double gang boxes, you may find you want more than just 2 outlets a double would give you 4, I found I needed 3 plugs when I wired up my new TV, VCR, DVD, Stereo with Cordless speakers.
