Is there a cable that goes from HDMI to either S-Video or Standard RCA Cables?
I want to be able to transfer my laptops picture onto my old standard definition tube television..
The Laptop is equipped with an HDMI output and USBs but I believe that is it..
The television has inputs for S-Video and RCA (Red Yellow White) Cables..
I understand that the picture would not be in HD I just need something to transfer one to the other and I would rather not have to buy a 100 converter box thingy..
HDMI and USB cables are digital transmission cables. S-video and composite video (yellow RCA) cables are analog video transmission cables. So, you'll definitely need some kind of "thingy" (it's an industry term) to convert the digital video to analog video.
