Laptop to 720p lcd should i use hdmi or s-video?
So i wanna hook my laptop up to my 720p lcd. i know that hdmi has a better picture, but i also know it cost more than a s-video cord. But is it really worth it to spend more or will i be fine with a s-video cord? Just not sure which way to go yet.
It doesn't cost more for an HDMI cable.
In addition, an S-Video cable is limited to resolutions of 480i, so you'd not even get progressive scan nevermind high definition.
How long a cable do you need? You can get good HDMI 1.3 certified 6ft cables for less than $5, and they perform as well as $300 cables from places like Monster.
