Memorex DVD Home Theater System for iPod® w/HDMI SKU / Model: MiHT5005 I can't get the ipod or full surround?
We just can't get it to work properly! Only the two front speakers and the sub will work. The bar and i believe (back) speakers do not play sound...only in a movie with the surround. Everything is hooked up nice and tight. The ipod dock will charge my mini and even fast fwd songs or go to next when i press the button on the reciever itself but NO sound!!! Someone please help, this has been most frutrating. Memorex tech staff is absolutely useless.
If the sound is only coming out two speakers it is working properly. This is because iPod audio (and almost all other audio sources) is only two channels.
Some receivers will have the option of dumping the stereo (two channel) mix and pumping all audio to all speakers. Look for a listening mode called "all channel" or something like that.
