Can a DVD player with HDMI be used with a non HDMI TV?
I want to buy a multi-region DVD player with PAL/NTSC converter and HDMI but my TV is non- HDMI compatible and non-HDTV compatible. It's an older digital tv with standard RCA connections. I want to make sure the player can be used with my tv without having to buy a newer more up to date tv. I'd hate to buy it and discover that it's not compatible with my tv. Is HDMI just an optional feature? I'm don't stay up to date with the latest technology so I hope this does not sound like a stupid question.
