Any IR Repaters/Extenders with 4 Inputs? Preferably via Cat 5 / 6?
I am redesigning my house and moving all my AV equipment to one room. I am linking all my TVs by HDMI extenders to this equipment. What i want is an Infrared repeater that can take at least four inputs so i can control the equipment in the office from the Lounge, Kitchen, and 2 Bedrooms. All i can find is repeaters with one input and multiple outputs, Could i link all 4 inputs in parallel to the one input on the repeater unit. I am basically trying to save having to buy 4 separate units as not only will it be expensive it will also be quite messy.
The product exists. I've read about it and it come automatically integrated into some A-Bus branded whole house audio systems (which won't help but just mentioning)
You're question about connecting in parallel? I'm uncertain because of the power requirements of each receiver in each room could exceed the output on the connecting block.
