Why doesn't my Samsung 2494HS work with my PS3?
The Samsung 2494HS supports HDMI at 1080p (even HDCP) apparently, but all I see after hooking up a PS3 is a black screen.
Tried using a different monitor to change the output settings... failed.
Tried to reset the PS3's monitor output by holding the start button. failed.
Tried different types of HDMI-DVI adapters... failed.
Tried a shorter extension cord... failed.
Samsung tells me they can't help me because the device works fine with a PC. They don't know why it doesn't work with a PS3. My PS3 works fine with my HDTV over HDMI so I don't see a problem there either.
Can somebody just explain what's wrong so I can fix it?
cuz the samsung 2494HS is made to work with the pc and it has wiring code.
and the ps3 has different wiring code. thats y the Samsung 2494HS
wiring code does not match the ps3 wire code
