Need help with my Sumvision Cyclone MKV Enclosure?
I have got Cyclone MKV Enclosure (HDMI Network Media Player Enclosure). It has its own built in 1.5 TB hard drive. When I switch on the device it functions as normal but after a few minutes it stops to recognize its built in hard drive, it doesnt read the hard drive and doesnt even display on the menu if it has a hard drive. Same problem occurs when I plug in an external hard drive, the player doesnt read it as well. I purchased this product a few months back and since my purchase I have used it 2-3 times on a monthly average. rn
I am assuming it might be a firmware issue but I have no idea what so ever.?
I had a strange problem with my western digital media player. when I upgraded to latest firmware, the problem has been solved. You should first try to apply latest firmware in my opinion. But if it doesn't solve your problem, your hard drive might have a problem. Bad sector or mechanic problem vs.. If you have a chance to check it by removing the hard drive and plugging to your pc. Then you can try to format copy some data...
