can you connect a laptop to a hdtv through hdmi?
my laptop has an hdmi port (i think) and my hdtv has one, can i connect my laptop to my tv through my hdmi cable that i bought so that i can display my laptop on my tv, or do i need a s video cable?
If the laptop has an HDMI port, sure. That's what it's for. It will give a FAR better picture than the S-video cable.
