Can I connect my new iPod touch to an HDTV this way?
I know I might just have to go buy the composite cables, but my tv has a usb port on it. I am SURE that it is a usb port, NOT an HDMI port. Will video output from the ipod work if I use the cable that came with it? (The standard usb cable in the box.)
No. You cannot connect an iPod touch directly with the usb cable provided to a HDTV. You've to get Apple (I'm not sure of the problems if you buy another brand) Composite AV cable or Apple Component AV cable or an Apple Universal Dock.
