Xbox 360 and hd dvd player resolution question?
Why everytime i load tranformers and king kong into my 360 HD DVD player it switches to 1080i i want 1080p im using componet cables and i have a 1080p Vizio 42 inch do i need hdmi to get 1080p or did i do something wrong
Many TVs will only do up to1080i over component. If you want 1080p, you need to use HDMI, which most of the earlier 360s don't support. You'll have to buy a 360 Elite, or wait for the newer Premium/Pro 360s to show up that have the HDMI port in them.
