problem connecting HDMI from laptop which restars everytime i plug it to the HDTV?
I bought a HDMI cable and connect it from HP laptop to samsung HDTV HDMI port but when I plug it in, the laptop automatically shutsdown and reboot it self again and again, so I removed the HDMI cable and the laptop restarts normally again.
When I checked the HDMI cable packaging it says connects TV to VCR or DVD; brand HDMI cable is Belkin; are there special HDMI cable for VCR/ DVD and PC/ Notebooks?
What should I do? Please help.
You should never connect the HDMI cable while either the TV or the Laptop is on You can cause damage to your components doing that.......both need to be off when connecting, after connecting the two components turn the TV on first then the lap top....
