How do i make my mac screen fit perfectly onto my tv (mini display port)?
I'm using a "Mini DisplayPort to HDMI TV Monitor Adapter for Macbook", and i connected to so that i canwatch a movie, however, atleast 2 inches of the sides of my hdtv are blacked out. What can i do do make my macbook display fit perfectly to my hdtv screen? I HOPE THIS MADE SENSE LOL
Your tv is displaying the aspect ratio of your monitor, which is not the same aspect ratio of the tv screen. HDTV screens are wider than most laptop screens, so what you can do to fix this is either set the display to stretch the picture across the HDTV, which would make everything stretch horizontally and would probably not look as nice. What would be better would be to set the HDTV to be a seperate monitor for the computer and adjust the resolution from there, but this means that you would have to drag whatever you are watching to the other screen (like the screen would be next to your laptop screen in digital space). I HOPE THIS MADE SENSE LOL
