How do I connect my laptop to my tv using HDMI cables?
Ok so I just bought a Asus G72GX Notebook PC and I have a Philips TV and I bought the hdmi cable for it and it works for the video but doesnt have any sound coming through the tv only laptop. My laptop has the hookup to plug the hdmi straight into the laptop and the tv does too but it will only do video not sound does anyone kno how to fix this?
First of all, nice laptop, 2nd, most likely the problem would be that the TV is not set for the sound to come threw the HDMI. Or, you have a defected cable or laptop
