NVIDIA graphics card wont detect LCD tv connected via HDMI?
bought a new pc it has a NVIDIA graphics card that wont detect my lcd tv connected via hdmi. it is connected from hdmi port from back of the tv to hdmi port on the back of my tower but i noticed next to the hdmi port on the back of the tower theres a another port that says 'display port' im guessing this could have something to do with it. any suggestions welcome
Does your TV have a VGA port? Connect your computer's VGA port to the TV's VGA port and install the driver to verify that the TV is recognize. Then switch back to the HDMI port and see if it sees it then. Couldn't hurt.
