How to connect logitech x540 speakers to a ps3?
I have a toshiba regza 42'' tv with 3 hdmi,2 scart plugs,optical(dont know what its for) etc.On my ps3 there is an optical aswell and red white and yellow cable coming out(av) although i use hdmi.How would i get the speakers to work with my ps3?i dont know what plugs or things are on the x540 speakers so...
can you tell and or show me with a link what cable if any i need to hook it up(im not good with cables and splitters etc)

This will not work if you're using an HDMI cable.
Use the Y-adapter that came with your speakers. Plug the red and white into the audio outputs on your PS3 cable. Plug the green end into the green cable that goes to your subwoofer/amplifier. Turn Matrix mode on.
