can someone tell me of a graphic card to use to output video and audio to tv over HDMI?
ahhhhhhhhhh, , i have been going mad trying getting this sorted, , need to connect my pc to the tv using an HDMI cable, , i want both video and audio to be sent through HDMI. my current graphic card has DVI out, i tried getting te audio signal to be routed to that but did not work.used an adapter to convert digital audio+ dvi to hdmi, but did not work either
cryyyyy, , , can someone pleeeease tell me of a graphic carg that i can use to get both audio and video signal to the TV using an HDMI cable?
Both ATI and Nvidia have cards with HDMI.
However, as long as your current card has Digital DVI output, it should work.
Simply connect the TV's video via DVI-to-HDMI and you need a separate cable that takes PC audio and feeds it to the HDMI audio input in your TV (every TV with HDMI has at least one HDMI input with separate audio for this exact reason). You may need a PC audio to PC audio cable (3.5 mm to 3.5 mm) or a 3.5 mm to RCA, depending on the audio input on your TV.
