My PS3 only works on my new LCD tv on the AV input. I can't get the HDMI to work.?
When I try to switch it to HDMI, my tv displays NO SIGNAL. I've tried to reset the ps3 by holding power for 5 seconds...didn't work. I bought new HDMI cables thinking my original ones were bad...didn't work still. We just had a lightning storm a couple days ago, could the HDMI port on the ps3 be fried? If so, is that even fixable?
Have you tried resetting the PS3 video source back to HDMI? Check here: http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/3_15/settings/index_display.html
Don't forget to change the channel from Video/Component to HDMI.
