Is there any difference between a 75 ohm and a 50 ohm antenna for my ATSC HDTV receiver (for laptop)?
I have a USB ATSC receiver, but it has a crappy antenna. I was looking for a better one on eBay, but I don't know if there's any diference between a 50 ohm or 75 ohm antenna.
There are also amplified (with USB power), are those better and how much better?.
Any info about which one to buy?

Either impedance antenna will do, regardless of receive input impedance. As most TV antennas are designed for 75 ohm impedance, that is the way to go.
Amplified antennas are to be avoided if at all possible. If one must be used, it should be at the antenna, not at the receiver. If you have a poor picture reception with no amplifier, it is better to improve the antenna than amplify.
